Student Field Trips

History Lesson

Joan Holcer (center) takes a group of middle school students from Diane Mapel's sixth grade class through the Grand River Historical Society Museum. Holcer is explaining the different items found in an old-fashioned kitchen.

Middle school students toured the facility all afternoon and were set to tour again today.

Mary Underwood (not pictured) also led groups through the museum.

On the Hunt

Fourth-graders from Central School were on a scavenger hunt at the museum as part of "Missouri Day."

Along with visiting the museum, the students also viewed murals in downtown Chillicothe and had scheduled Missouri Knowledge relays at Simpson Park in the afternoon, following a picnic lunch.
